In a chamber music setting, Klangforum Wien will perform works by the Russian composer and singer Dariya Maminova, who currently lives in Cologne, the "Georgian Xenakis" Mikheil Shugliashvili, who died at an early age, the Ukrainian Anna Korsun, who is already known to Konzerthaus audiences from several performances, the composer and pianist Asia Ahmetjanova, who comes from Latvia and now lives in Switzerland, and the Armenian Aram Hovhannisyan. Apart from Shugliashvili, who is considered the first Georgian avant-garde composer, this evening is dedicated to a generation of composers in their mid-thirties.
