Songs of Reeds is an interdisciplinary project that explores alternative concert formats, incorporating performance and new media. The main goal of this project is to develop an interdisciplinary concert for oboes. A six-member team, consisting of composers from different genres, extensively addresses topics such as "filter bubbles" and "echo chambers" on the internet.
The "Songs of Reeds" project by Vicente Moronta will be presented in Switzerland soon. The new compositions by Daniel Zea, Asia Ahmetjanova, Verena Weimann, Manuela Villiger, Pablo Garretón-Izquierdo, and Cristiana Palandri will be showcased. Vicente Moronta himself will perform as a performer (performance, oboes, objects). He will be accompanied by Erwin Fonseca, who is responsible for the electronics.
