„NUN“ for piano solo
This piano piece is my first large-scale piano solo composition, marking a personal liason between being a composer and a performer.
"NUN" translates from German as "the present moment" and also serves as a Latinized version of the Hebrew letter 1, symbolizing faithfulness. This piece aims to reinvent the familiar sound of the piano without exploring its inner space, while still allowing for sincere and raw self-expression.
"NUN" - "now" represents the past two years, during which I confronted a harsh reality but still longed to be immersed in dreams and embrace the warmth of those around me.
It symbolizes hope.
